The Grindmoores are hosting one of their famous weekend retreats, playfully known as the Tri-Annual Try Everyone. Each New Year, Memorial, and Labor Day weekend, they invite three other couples to join them for three nights of freethinking fun. This time they have invited the following couples to their vacation home in Lake Tahoe:
This is the Sellers' second retreat and they have been asked back as the guests of honor. Married just a few years, the two live in Berkley with their young son. Graham is completing medical school and is specializing in alternative medicine. Maryjane helps support the family by running a small organic catering business.
These attractive young lovers will be experiencing their first weekend here. They are looking forward to yet another adventure during their cross-country tour for Aaron's semi-pro pool tournament. His girlfriend is a chain-smoking biker chick who goes by "Smoka".
Glory and her ex-husband were no strangers to the Grindmoore's parties. Glory and her daughter recently moved back to Manhattan following a nasty divorce. This weekend she will be escorted by her new fiancée, Cord. He is a well-known songwriter from Dublin trying to establish himself in the States.
Ellis works at his family's New York law firm while dreaming of being in the entertainment industry. Beverly is a poet and playwright and soon her first off-Broadway show will debut. While not working on her play, Beverly's time is spent raising their son while he is more focused on their soirées.
