It is two days before the big race in Louisville and you can sense the anticipation in the air. Victor has dreamed of being a jockey since he was a child. With the help of his dedicated manager and experienced trainer, this could be his chance to prove he is a real contender.
Gloria is not only Victor's manager, but also his mother. With her unyielding determination and Eleanor's skillful help, Victor has everything he needs to come out on top.
Marshall has it all: the largest stud farm in Texas, a gorgeous young wife, and the confidence of having the fastest horse in the race. He also happens to be the ex-husband of Gloria Tallcoste.
This shapely young beauty recently wed the wealthy Marshall Highroller. She will never have to work a day in her life, not that she ever has.
Nora, as she prefers to be called, has inherited both the family estate and a way with horses. A successful trainer, her career now hinges on Victor's upcoming performance.
Happily married to Eleanor, Ian is a well respected doctor at Kentucky's Teen Rehabilitation for Alcohol and Pharmaceuticals. While not personally connected to the race, he fully supports his wife's ambition.
Izzy works in the stables assisting his mother, Eleanor. While not blessed with his father's intelligence, or his mother's talent, he seems content tending to the horses.
